Personal Loan For No Credit

Author: Sakina Walsh • Date Published: 02/02/2005

The lending industry seems to break up its products in categories of customer types. These can range from those with spotless credit, to those with okay credit, all the way down the ladder to those that have recently filed for bankruptcy or have very poor credit. So where do those with no credit fit in? As ludicrous as it seems, sometimes people in this category have an even more difficult time being approved for a personal loan, credit card, or other financial product than those with proven bad credit. That’s why getting a personal loan for no credit can be such a challenge at times.

Even lenders that specialize in bad credit financing, also known as sub-prime lenders, look for at least a couple of good credit sources. But if you have no credit, how do you get credit? It seems like a hopeless situation. Students can sometimes be approved for student credit cards and begin building credit that way. But if this is not an option, other avenues seem blocked off.

Often the best way to get a personal loan for no credit is to use the assistance of a cosigner. This has a few benefits. Not only can you be approved for and utilize the personal loan for no credit that you have been seeking, but you can also begin building your own credit so that next time you are in need of financing, you can be approved for it on your own.

If you do not have a cosigner available to you, you may be able to find a personal loan for no credit online. There are several web based lenders that offer products that you cannot normally find through traditional banks and finance companies.
